// about
I’m Ivan, a web developer in Veracruz, México. I build sites and tools for businesses that already exist: a dance competition, a car care shop running since 1982, a regional mexicano group, a marine monitoring company.
What interests me isn’t the nice-looking site, it’s the problem behind it. It’s usually the same one: something that matters is being coordinated over WhatsApp, over Instagram, or in a spreadsheet, and it has stopped holding up. That’s where I’m useful.
How I work
I ask what’s breaking first. Before proposing any technology I want to know what eats your time, what gets lost, and what your customers ask you ten times a day.
I ship things that run without me. A panel your team actually uses, bookings that arrive without you answering a message, a record that outlives whoever stopped maintaining it.
I speak plainly. No jargon. If something isn’t worth building, I’ll say so.
What I work with
I pick the tool for the problem, not the other way around. Getting it online and keeping it there is my job too: an informational site costs next to nothing a month to host, and a platform with an admin panel and a database runs about 150 pesos a month in server costs. That cost is the hosting provider’s, not mine: pricing and available plans can change.
Let’s talk
Got something that runs on WhatsApp today and shouldn’t?
