Coast Competition
An urban dance competition that had outgrown an Instagram profile.
The problem
Coast is a two-day urban dance competition and workshop series at Foro Boca, Veracruz. All of it lived on Instagram: the instructors, the schedule, ticket prices, the venue, and every question a dancer had before signing up.
Instagram is good at announcements and bad at reference. A dancer deciding whether to travel needs the price tier, the class schedule and the venue in one place — not scattered across three months of stories.
What I built
A dedicated site covering the whole event: instructor lineup, workshops, day-by-day agenda, pricing tiers, venue details and an FAQ, with registration as the single clear call to action. Announcements still break on Instagram, and the site stays the reference that outlives the story.
Built with Next.js and Tailwind, deployed on Cloudflare.
Result
The event has a permanent home that answers a dancer’s questions without a DM, and a link that works in a bio, a flyer and a WhatsApp forward.
